Raised in Middle Georgia, David Spivey graduated from First Presbyterian Day School in Macon, Georgia where he was Senior Class President.  He graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in Religion.  David received two prestigious awards his senior year:  The American Legion Award (for Courage, Honor, Leadership, Patriotism, Scholarship & Service) awarded to one female and one male graduating senior and Fraternity Man of The Year.  Also while at Presbyterian College, he was very active in the Student Government Association, Judicial Council (Chairman his senior year) and Kappa Alpha Order (Number IV & VI).  David continues his commitment to Presbyterian College by serving on the Alumni Board.

David Spivey was formally an Associate Broker REALTOR® partnered with Virginia H. Duke forming TheLeadingTeam.com.  Virginia and David were associated with Fickling & Company Real Estate Services in Macon, Georgia.  David was an Active Life Member of The Circle of Excellence (formally known as The Million Dollar Club) and was involved in The Middle Georgia Association of Realtors.  David spent time volunteering for Make-A-Wish and served on the local board.

David and his high school friend Rad Massey and Rad's wife Nancy, opened Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers Franchise in Macon on 27 July 2009. The store is located off Bass Road in the Publix shopping center (5425 Bowman Road, Macon, Georgia 31210). David and Rad have sold Mellow Mushroom Macon, wishing the new owners the best!

David currently is Co-Owner of USA Mobile Drug Testing of Atlanta with his brother Jon.
